  • Aprašymas: Mr. Middleman is a tax evader, or rather - he was! This morality drama shows what ought to happen to him and to everyone else who does not want to pay their fair share of public expenditure. His wife is turned out of the public hospital; his son is expelled from the municipal school; fire breaks out in his home, but the public water supply is cut off; he is robbed of his new clothes, but he, and not the robber, is arrested. He has learned his lesson. He promises to pay his taxes next time - and gladly!
